One more preview shot before I post the second photoset. I wanted to post this one separate because it’s special. We used no editing techniques on this one. It just came to be this way. Sometimes mistakes make beautiful things.

I will be posting this photoset in 3 parts due to the amount of photos we ended up taking. I have this idea in mind since last summer but never got the chance to execute it. One of my favorite paintings, Millais’s Ophelia, was a huge inspiration behind these photos. The first half we chose to shoot without flowers.

One of my favorite sets of photos from the past year of so. These were taken last summer on a day I was cooped up in the house and feeling inspired.

I had a spurt of interest in Francesca Woodman at the time and ever since that day I have been getting back into one of my passionate hobbies: B&W Photography.

These photos signify the moment when someone is alone… and under duress. They have that moment where everything hits them and they have to release the tension. Sometimes making the person ultimately not really feel better… but rather depleted. The second photo moreso signifies the depletion and then the aftermath of contemplation that usually comes from a stressful situation.
