Since I’m on a black and white kick I figured this would be the perfect time to re-insert this style post that many people enjoyed. Although this was around the holiday season this fringe ombre dress from Pixie Market is a great transitional piece to wear during spring. All of the festival inspiration that used to include fringe has grown tired but I love the full length of the fringe and how much fun it is to walk around in. It’s almost like the dress has movement of its own.
One thing I definitely don’t miss is are my yellow tinted ends. A word to the wiser of us. Never use Manic Panic Banana Yellow unless you want it to literally hold onto your hair for dear life. My tint stayed in for literally almost an entire year and near the end of that… I was not a happy camper. Stick with hair chalking and colors that fade. Yellow is yellow for a reason. It’s dangerous.

This has got to be one of my favorite picks for SOTD for a very long while now. I forget exactly where I saw these but I noticed a lot of people sharing them around the internet after I started my shoe crush.
This further reinstates my opinion that this sandalette is just plain bad ass. I’ve been noticing a huge black and white movement since winter time where streetstylers have been going all white, all black, or a mixture of both. This trend is one of the most appealing to me making these shoes a great accessory to add into that equation. I think someday I’m going to just have to admit that color isn’t my favorite thing in the world although most blogger’s seem to want to throw color all in your face during spring.
I already love Cheap Monday for several reasons. I love their branding, overall casual style, price range, and the modern attitude of dressing according to ones own rules but keeping it simple.
So here’s to you Cheap Monday, and your pretty wicked footwear. I will (hopefully) be snatching these babies up very soon.

I’m finally able to post a few up-to-date style photos. It’s been rough not having my good friend and photographer not being able bodied. He’s recovering from a broken ankle and needless to say it’s hard to pick up a camera again after giving up that creative freedom to another person for so long. Not to mention it’s boring and without much pleasure photographing myself now that I don’t have his encouraging and fun personality.
But he’ll be back soon.
Even though I’ve gone out and done my fair share of spring shopping infused with prints and colors I wasn’t really in the “spring mood” come Monday. So I did what I do when I’m just not on par. I stick with my relatively blank canvas look. I’ve been really dead set on white on white since winter… I think it’s because mine was a long one. But not all was lost as I did happen to have a pair of white trousers with subtle floral embroidery. So that will have to suffice for now.
