Title //Siren
Medium //Graphite, Watercolor, and Digital Touchups
Another ocean based artwork post in the spirit of the week of sharks. This one was done last year sometime but I never really got the chance to post it. Mostly because it was one of my first attempts to use digital touchups and I think it shows.
But regardless this particular study is based off of the costume titled Siren from American McGees Alice. One of the main reasons I find myself playing the game again and again is for the amazing costumes. This one happened to be my favorite due to the fact that it has an angler fish attached to the back and was adorned with iridescent scales. It’s also the only costume she walks around in barefoot.
Also if you haven’t caught the fashion reference in this little piece yet… look no further than the sequin bodysuit. Look familiar? Maybe you saw Dries Van Noten Spring RTW 2011?
